Hayes Street Grill accepts reservations up to three weeks in advance.

Before a performance in the neighborhood -- symphony, opera, ballet -- our tables fill up quickly. During those peak hours, we will seat on a first-come, first-serve basis only at the bar.

If you want to enjoy a leisurely meal on performance evenings beginning at 6:00 PM or thereabouts, you must make reservations. Still, if you drop in closer to 7:00 PM on those nights, there may be a table or a place at the bar where we can comfortably serve you in plenty of time to walk across the street for the performance.

On non-performance nights and after 7:45 PM, reservations are appreciated but not mandatory. You can drop in at those times.
